There is no grand mission for this trek and there’s no point on the map that guides my travels. All I’m really sure of is where I’ve been – I brought my bike to the Arctic in June 2009 and I’ve been cycling ever since. Where I’m going is largely irrelevant. It could be jungles, plains, stones or sand – it doesn’t matter. Every single day on the road is a gift, a precious flash of something sublime, and if had any goal at all, it was only to experience that beauty firsthand.
